Bilbo Baggins started his second journey with these words, and I think they are quite fitting for my second journey to Iceland.

Tolkien himself might have never come to Iceland, but the influence of this island on his stories can be seen everywhere. From mountains near and far, gushing rivers and waterfalls, and endless green pastures, you’re always half expecting to see the Fellowship trudging along the Icelandic countryside. 

Elves can still be found around Iceland, and the Icelandic language even sounds a bit like Elvish! You have to be careful not to disturb the Elves; as long as you are not bothering them, they won't bother you...
