The fireflies dancing by the banks of the pond during sunset. The vibrant green of the trees after a rainstorm. The single street lamp illuminated on the eve of a snowy day. The world is so magical, isn’t it?
Caravan Tales is a whimsical travel company in which travelers go on an immersive, curated adventure with the intention of becoming closer to Allah through His signs and companionship with His creation. This Caravan is meant for soul seekers looking to travel beyond traditional tourism. It is an intentional disruption to find yourself and recalibrate your understanding of the world so we may return to our homes with a higher degree of conscious living.
These trips follow a particular theme, for example, meeting various masters of ihsan (excellence) in Japan, learning about Icelandic folklore and nature, or learning the process of bread baking from ingredient sourcing to baking a bread from Nordic countries.
A Caravan Tales trip is a microcosm of life: representing people we meet on the way that can teach us lessons and empower change. At the end of each trip, travelers write a short story about their journey that is compiled into a physical book (a “Tale”) and gifted as a reminder of the transformative power a simple Tale can spark in a person’s life.

FOUNDER
In 2015, Nida attended a spiritual retreat which sparked her love of finding good “suhba” (beautiful company) and a desire to learn sacred knowledge. Since then, she has traveled widely and is passionate about bringing others the same level of transformational magic through travel. She is a lover of theatre, baking, and sharing of human experiences.
Her academic background is in Civil Engineering with an initial career focus in airport planning before transitioning to the cloud-based software field. She is immensely grateful for her corporate experience in enabling her with the confidence, leadership, analytical and organizational skills necessary to lead this Caravan.
She is currently working full time building Caravan Tales: marketing, selling, networking, creating films for the social media, managing the website… all that jazz (I’m actually speaking in third person now referring to myself, lol!). She is also a baker passionate about working with local grains and supporting her community of farmers and bakers. She hopes one day she can revisit her love for theatre and film in the context of travel and pair it with her love of baking!
