In Japan my heart landed.

Land of the samurai and anime.

Sipping on matcha and cafe latte.

A merry group of travellers I met.

We explored temples and shrines of ancient times.

Mount Takao was quite a challenge.

The view of Mount Fuji was worth the damage.

At 7-11 we found our sustenance.

Anko and onigiri was my food of choice.

Nara the land of the ancient deer.

Feed them at your own risk don’t let them too near.

Hakone the land of black eggs and hot springs.

The view from the lake was breathtaking.

In Kyoto we had many laughs.

Trips to Don Quijote and gachapon.

Funny moments to reflect upon.

Precious memories and new friendships started.

Leaving Japan my heart departed.
