A Southwest Virginia Roadtrip Adventure!
Sunday, June 21, 2026: A Full Day Adventure!
Pembroke and Blacksburg, Virginia
Bismillah!
One van. 15 potential new friends: let’s go on a Southwest Virginia Roadtrip Adventure!
You will have the unique chance of being part of a one-day Caravan Tales adventure including hiking to a waterfall, a reflection session with remembrance, deep questions, and stillness, and visiting the Blacksburg mosque!
If you’ve been itching to be part of an adventure but cannot commit to an overnight adventure at this time, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU! Don’t be daunted by the pick-up time, take this as your chance to pray two rakats of tahajud on a weekend morning before setting out on this adventure! EEP! You don’t have to be from Virginia to join the adventure! Come to one of the pick-up points and let’s go on a roadtrip! This adventure is open to friends who are able to join in the van from either of these pickup locations - not for driving in individual cars!

Note: These times are subject to change due to unforeseen delays, but be physically and mentally prepared for a full day early morning to later night adventure! Nothing to fear when you go home with a heart full of memories with new friends! And you can sleep on the van, but why would you want to!?
The hike is moderately paced but rocky with some incline. The hike can be slippery at times due to rocks. Once we reach the waterfall, we will have a reflection session where you all will have the chance to get to know each other, ask meaningful and deep questions, and sit in silence in nature.
This adventure is open to all ages 18+ unless you are accompanied by a parent or sibling above 18!
Once registration closes, you will be added to a group chat where I’ll communicate the logistics, addresses for each pick-up/drop-off location, and more! You will be meeting your friends directly at the trailhead with plenty of guidance included on how to get there! If you’re looking to carpool to the van pickup meeting point, feel free to coordinate with your fellow adventur-ers once the Whatsapp group is created, inshaAllah (God willing)!
